Humphrey’s Pyjama Week is an exciting charity initiative, organised by The Children’s trust in partnership with the familiar and much-loved nursery and pre-school brand, Humphrey’s Corner.
For a suggested donation of just £2 per child, children have the opportunity to wear their pyjamas to their day care facility and participate in a number of themed activities, providing a fun and educational day, whilst raising money for The Children’s Trust.
Humphrey’s Pyjama Week will not only provide a valid reason to dress up and collect money for The Children’s Trust but will also be a themed and coordinated experience.
As a participating organisation, you will receive in your free fundraising pack:
· A special activity book for all the children that take part. The activity book includes a special story about Humphrey going to visit his friend at The Children’s Trust, plus some puzzles and colouring-in sheets
· Suggestions for themed educational and play activities based on the Humphrey’s Corner books
· Cardboard Humphreys so you can hold your own Humphrey Treasure Hunt!
· Event posters, invitations, stickers and certificates
· Template press releases to send out before and after your event
· Information about The Children’s Trust
· Paying-in instructions
WHO ARE THE CHILDREN’S TRUST?
The Children’s Trust is a national charity providing care, therapy and education for children who have become disabled as a result of an accident or illness, or for children who were born with multiple learning disabilities and complex medical needs. It is also the UK’s leading centre for children with acquired brain injuries.
There are only two places in the UK that specialises in the rehabilitation of children with acquired brain injury. Only a very small proportion of children who could benefit from rehabilitation have the opportunity to have it. Today, the Trust helps children and families from all over the UK and the hope of The Children’s Trust is to reach out to even more children.

HOW TO ORGANISE YOUR PYJAMA DAY
Organising your Pyjama Day is simple. Just follow these easy steps:
1. Register on http://www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/humphrey www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/humphrey or by calling 01737 365 019 and we will send you your event pack.
2. Once you have received your pack, choose which day during Humphrey’s Pyjama Week to hold your Pyjama Day
2. Send the invitations included in the pack to the parents asking children to wear their Pyjamas and slippers to nursery or school for a minimum donation of £2.
3. Have a fun-packed and activity-filled Pyjama Day!
4. Collect up the money raised and send it to The Children’s Trust using the paying-in instructions enclosed in your pack.
